MORE details have been released of an action-packed weekend of fun when Radio One descends on Bolton later this month.
Bolton-born DJ Sara Cox is coming home for the three-day music extravaganza.
She is bringing with her fellow BBC radio presenters Mark and Lard, Scott Mills, Judge Jules, Emma B and Dr Mark Hamilton.
The packed programme of events will be centred on the Life Bar Cafe in Nelson Square and it will kick off with a live broadcast of Sara's Breakfast Show between 7am and10am on Friday, March 28.
Special guest, singer Richard Ashcroft will join former Bolton School pupil Mark Radcliffe and his sidekick Lard for their live show between 1pm and 3pm.
On Saturday,March 29, blind date wannabes will have the chance to show off their chat-up lines during Bolton's own speed-dating challenge, which will be hosted by Emma B and Scott Mills.
Following that, between 1pm and 2pm, the public will be able to put their questions to Sara Cox and her team.
At 5pm the pace hots up with Judge Jules presenting his Saturday show live from the Life Bar.
Local acts will have a unique opportunity to show off their talents with Steve Lamacq on Sunday, March 30.
There will be live shows and star guests and the One Life team will be on hand to offer image make-overs. Movie mogul James King will offer film advice and the Sunday Surgery team will attempts to solve problems live on air.
A Radio One spokesman said: "This will be an exciting event in Sara's home town and we hope lots of people come down and take part."
Other star guests and live performers are still to be confirmed.
