ONE man and his dog will be walking from Bolton to Eccles to raise cash in aid of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
Les Watson, and his dog Shane, will be setting a cracking pace to walk from Bolton Town Hall to the RNLI Office in Eccles next Wednesday.
Bolton mayor Cllr John Walsh, Bolton Town Centre Company manager Cathy Savage and members of the RNLI's Farnworth, Kearsley and Bolton branch will be there to see him set off.
The walk is in memory of the branch's former president, the Rev Charles Bubbings. Sponsor forms are available from Brian Thompson on (01204) 845358 or Muriel Davies on 01204 524343.
