A TEENAGER died when he fell through the roof of a disused warehouse while playing with his friends.
A verdict of accidental death was recorded at the Bolton inquest in Bolton of Stephen Samuel Gleave, aged 14.
Stephen had gone to play football with his friends before going to the disused warehouse near the Nasmyth Business Centre in Eccles on June 11 last year.
Stephen and his friends climbed into the grounds of the disused warehouse and on to the roof.
Friends said that Stephen stepped upright onto a glass panel of the roof, and they told him to get off -- but within seconds he had fallen through and plunged into the warehouse.
The police, fire brigade and paramedics attended the scene at 6.40pm, and Stephen was rushed into Salford's Hope Hospital -- but he was later pronounced dead at 8.13pm.
The pathologist said that Stephen died from severe internal injuries he sustained in the fall.
