WHEN I read about the derby match with Manchester United in the Bolton Evening News I quickly became so upset by Sam Allardyce's comments about the late goal and the blame he heaped on the players that I stopped reading it.
The following Friday the depression set in again with the manager's comments about: "What the lost, late goals and points will cost us this season."
The fans I have spoken to since the game have been upbeat about the game and the team's performance and its future if they can continue with more of the same.
Sam Allardyce wanted a 10-year contract as manager of Bolton Wanderers and he got it. He should get on with managing the club and stop moaning about the money that other teams have got and that he has not.
He should take responsibility for what he is supposed to be.
ITV said the late goals were probably because the Bolton players are just not fit enough for 90 minutes.
Then again maybe it is because the players coming on as subs are less fit and out of tune than the ones coming off.
Maybe it is more the case that trying to defend a single goal lead and introducing late subs into the game that is not a good idea.
Come on Sam, change your face and let's have a more positive approach. After all the club's Premiership status is still in our own hands.
