PREMIER Division leaders Ramsbottom A continued their unbeaten run with a comprehensive 8-1 at second-placed Hilton Tameside.
The win gives the Rammy team a four-point advantage with matches in hand.
Farnworth, in third spot, enjoyed a 6-3 win against Little Lever, which included a treble by Adam Bleakley. Trebles were also recorded by Steve Crook for Hilton A, Mick Dore for Cricketers and Linsey Thornton for Lostock.
At the top of Division One, Carlton scored an 8-1 win over Hilton B, while Nomads A in second place scraped home 5-4 at Chorley Old Road thanks to a treble by Craig Johnson.
Nomads are 13 points adrift but have played three matches less at this time.
Elsewhere, Heaton A won a tight match with Wingates 5-4, with four players winning two sets.
Little Lever C strengthened their position at the top of Division Two by winning 8-1 at Nomads B, while Heaton C, in second place, won 5-4 on their visit to Halls, giving the Little Lever team an 18-point advantage.
All three Bolton Evening News A players won two sets in their win at Ladybridge B.
Three wins by Brian Lowden and two by Geoff Rushton gave Rushtons their 5-4 win over Halliwell Meths, while Peter Bladen trebled for Hilton C, who went down 5-4 at Egerton Park.
Only six points separate three teams at the top of Division Three. The current leaders Ladybridge D scraped home 5-4 at Little Lever, while Meadow Hill A, in second spot, won 6-3 at Ladybridge C.
Hilton F, perhaps in the strongest position having played less matches than the other two, also won by a 6-3 scoreline against Ellesmere.
Trebles in these matches went to Mark Martin, Little Lever, Phil Noden and Steve Jones Meadow Hill, and Craig Bradbury and Brian Hall for Hilton.
Three teams won with a 5-4 scoreline -- Heaton E at Hilton H, Hilton F against Farnworth and Hilton E against Hilton G. Trebles went to Colin Thornley, Alan Crompton and John Kofi. Jimmy Collier also trebled for Meadow Hill B, who beat Rammy D 6-3.
In Division Four, Heaton F scored maximum points against Ladybridge F and Heaton G beat Hilton L 8-1.
YMCA, against Jubilee, and Hilton K, at Bolton Evening News B, recorded 5-4 wins.
