WILL he or won't he? Comedy fans are being kept guessing over rumours that Peter Kay will visit the Filmworks in Manchester for a special charity screening of Phoenix Nights.
Cast members from the hit comedy show have promised to be on hand to introduce three episodes chosen by the audience and to talk about filming the series -- but the identities of most are being kept a secret.
So far, Patrick McGuiness who plays bouncer Paddy, is confirmed. An insider said: "There will be an element of surprise to the night."
The event, at Manchester's Printworks entertainment complex, takes place on March 14. The other big question is: will garlic bread sit alongside popcorn on the menu?
Tickets cost £10, with only a limited number available. Proceeds will go to Comic Relief. To book and for time details, contact 08705 888933. But hurry, tickets are going fast . . .
