FAMILIES of cancer patients say they have been devastated by revelations that some confidential records have got out of the Royal Bolton Hospital.
Susan Callaghan, aged 44, from Daubhill, fears her mother's details could be one of the 13.
Her mum, Alice Gallamore, 77, also from Daubhill, died two years ago from lung cancer and was treated in Bolton. Mrs Callaghan said: "This has really worried me. To think this sort of information could be all over the place is devastating.
"It has brought memories flooding back. It makes my blood boil. I want to know my family's private lives are not disclosed like this. Wounds have been opened up. It's horrible."
