WITH two shows already under his belt this season, Tyldesley Little Theatre's Mike Rimmer had been ready to put his feet up for a well earned rest. . .

That was until he received a last minute call.

An actor had to drop out of rehearsals for the theatre's next production, the psychological thriller, Your Turn To Clean The Stair, and at the eleventh hour, Mike was drafted in.

The play runs from March 25 to 29 and focuses on the plight of Lisa, a young woman trying to survive a stressful existence in a tenement block. Her husband is far too wrapped up in his own life to notice as Lisa's stress finds an outlet in sleepwalking.

Mike is joined on stage by Hanna Nixon and Paul Beardsworth. Margaret Speakes makes her first appearance of the season, while Karen Seddon returns after an 18 month gap, during which time she married fellow TLT member Paul Ward -- and also gave birth to daughter, Eloise. Ian Taylor will be directing.

Tickets are available from 01204 655619 or 01942 886908.

DRAFTED IN : Mike Rimmer

At this point questions start to be asked about the whereabouts of Lisa's neighbour -- is he dead, and if so is Lisa responsible?
