BIRMINGHAM club captain Steve Vickers is convinced his side are just two wins away from securing Premiership safety.
The Blues are now six points clear of Wanderers and West Ham, after back-to-back wins over Aston Villa and Liverpool, with just nine games until the end of the season.
The defender revealed that Steve Bruce's team are now enjoying their football and confident of survival, which would mean the Whites and the Hammers will slog it out for the one remaining relegation place alongside likely casualties Sunderland and West Brom.
Birmingham will look to continue their run on Sunday when they travel to Manchester City.
Vickers said: "The win against Aston Villa in our last game, when I thought that the team was outstanding, was a massive result and it has given us some breathing space. Hopefully, if we could get a couple of wins then we will be fine.
"Beating Villa has given everyone a big lift and there has been a great atmosphere at training."
"After any win you enjoy it because they can sometimes be few and far between and in the Premiership they are hard to come by. That is why we have enjoyed the last two and confidence in the camp is sky high at the moment."
