A MAN from Eccles has been charged with the murder of a 24-year-old man in Salford last year. Anthony Martin Parker, aged 24, of Whitehead Road, is accused of stabbing Simon Dawson to death.
He was killed in an alleyway off Ridgeway in Salford on June 19. Ian Machin, aged 33, of Atherton Street, Eccles, has also been charged with murder and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
John Wears, aged 33, also from Whitehead Road, is facing allegations of conspiracy to commit murder and assisting an offender.
A fourth man, Lee Horrocks, aged 32, from Buckingham Road, Clifton, has been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. All four were due to appear at Salford Magistrates Court today.
