GOLFING fan Graham Holland had a stroke of luck when he won £125,000 on the lottery.
The 49-year-old auto-electrician matched five numbers and the bonus ball in last Saturday's draw.
Graham, from Radcliffe, now plans to treat his family and has already come up with a number of plans to spend the money.
His daughter Laura, aged 17, has designs on a new car although he said she would have to pass her test first. He also plans to have one or two holidays around the world this year, with the odd round of golf thrown in!
Both he and his wife, Ellen, aged 47, have also dreamed of buying their own property in an exotic location and are now hoping they will now be able to make that dream a reality.
Graham, who plays at Harwood Golf Club, said: "I was in a complete state of shock after I found out and Ellen would not stop jumping and down. We are thrilled."
He added: "I was just checking my numbers on Teletext as usual on Monday. I never usually bother until a few days after, sometimes not at all, but I am glad that I did this time."
The couple have a big year this year and are planning to use some of the money to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary and Laura's 18th birthday.
Ellen added: "I had always wondered what the feeling was like when you won and now I know. It is wonderful."
