A MAN accused of intent to supply cocaine has been sent by magistrates for a crown court trial.
Edward Frank Ashworth-Brown, aged 35, of Preston Street, Bolton, will face a charge of possessing 25 grams of the drug with intent to supply and of possessing a quantity of amphetamine.
Ashworth-Brown will attend a first hearing at Manchester Crown Court, Minshull Street, on April 16. Conditional bail was granted in the hearing at Rochdale magistrates' court.
Ashworth-Brown was also before the Rochdale bench for driving while disqualified and without insurance in Maclure Road, Rochdale. He admitted both offences.
After hearing that he had previous convictions for banned driving, which included a prison sentence, the magistrates adjourned the case until April 2.
