WANDERERS midfielder Kevin Nolan is calling on fans to support England U17s team when they take on Slovakia at the Reebok Stadium on Friday, kick off 7pm.

This match is part of the UEFA U17s Championship second qualifying round with the winners progressing to the finals in Portugal this summer.

Nolan, who has played for England at U18s up to U21s levels, is urging all football fans to come along and show their support.

He said: "It is great that the Under 17s are coming and I hope that Bolton fans will give them a big welcome and create great atmosphere for them. Playing for England is a great honour and I am sure that the lads will enjoy playing here, I hope that a big crowd will turn out and cheer them on."

Leigh RMI's Hilton Park ground will host a game between the Czech Republic and Slovakia on Sunday kick off 4pm.

Chairman Alan Leach said: "I am delighted that UEFA have chosen to bring this international football match to Hilton Park. It is a particular honour both for our football club and for the town of Leigh."

"The game gives local people the chance to see an intriguing clash between two countries which were formerly both parts of Czechoslovakia. Not only that, but with admission at a bargain price of £1 for adults and with children being admitted free, it is a great opportunity to see international football at a price everyone can afford."
