A MAN has gone on trial accused of hurling racial abuse at a 14 year-old boy and smashing a window.
Jason McGarry, aged 33, of Dunkirk Road, Whitefield, is alleged to have racially threatened the teenager and then hurled a brick through the lounge window.
The dispute between neighbours flared up after McGarry's partner Tracy accused Leyton Taylor, now aged 16, of ordering pizzas and sending them to her house.
McGarry appeared at Bolton Crown Court yesterday to stand trial. He denied a racially aggravated offence and racially motivated criminal damage.
When arrested McGarry said he could not remember the incident but denied racially abusing the boy or breaking the window.
