THE gang from Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights will be doing their bit for Comic Relief tonight -- live and on the big screen!
Fans of the Bolton-based series have paid £10 each to see their three favourite episodes from the first series of the popular Channel 4 comedy show at the Filmworks cinema at Manchester's Printworks complex.
Members of the cast will introduce each episode to the 300-and-odd-strong audience, along with some anecdotes about making the series.
Patrick McGuinness, who plays ladies' man bouncer Paddy, will be there tonight and fans are hoping that Peter Kay -- currently in the midst of his huge UK tour, will be able to pop along too.
Over the past few days, fans have been encouraged to vote for their favourite episodes on the Printworks website.
The top three will be shown tonight. So will it be the drunken horse? Or the Potter romance?
All will be revealed tonight -- but before you turn to the telephone to book a ticket, forget it. They sold out within minutes of it being announced.
Money raised from the screening will go to Comic Relief.
