A CHARITY dance night in aid of Bury Hospice is set to bring back musical memories of the 1940s.
The 1940s dance night will feature the Tommy Lowe Big Band playing music of the era, and will be held in the Elizabethan Suite, at Bury town hall, on Saturday, March 29.
Guests can wear 1940s military uniform or civilian dress, but it is not essential. Tickets cost £10, and include a hot pot supper. They can be bought from Bury Hospice Shop, 89 The Rock, from Bury Tourist Information Office, in Market Street, or by calling 0161 764 5950.
