A 83-YEAR-OLD man died of a suspected heart attack after he collapsed at the wheel of his car.
The pensioner, who has not yet been named, was driving along Bradshaw Road, Bolton, when he slumped over the wheel near the junction with Bradshaw Hall Drive at about 10.40pm yesterday.
Police said the car then crashed into a dry stone wall on Moss Hill Farm.
The driver is believed to be from the Preston area. He was found to be dead when paramedics arrived.
His next of kin have been informed.
A post mortem examination was due to be carried out today and the death has been passed to the coroner.
