MOST graduates want to working in the subject they studied at university throughout their career, according to a Teacher Training Agency survey.
Nearly three quarters of those surveyed said they wanted to work in a job which used their degree, while a further 22 per cent said they would like to maintain some professional involvement.
Only four per cent said that they did not want to pursue, through employment, their degree area of study.
When asked which three careers would enable them to continue working in their academic background an overwhelming majority cited teaching.
