MATCH of the day in the U16 was a seven goal thriller as Jason Lomax clinched the points for Bolton Eagles with a man of the match double strike to keep them top of the league with an unbeaten record.

There were other wins for Hindley Tigers, Ladybridge, Hindley Jnrs and Westhoughton Rangers. In the U15 Radcliffe Boro stay after a draw with Ladybridge while Lads Club, Hindley, Daisy Hill and Farnworth Boys all won with Yeboah netting a hat trick for the latter.

North Walkden stay out in front in the U14 but Oxford Grove were held to a draw by CMB who had Robinson bagging a brace. There were prolific goalscorers in Division Two. These being Callaghan, Oakes and Shinners for Farnworth, Westhoughton and Tempest. In the U13 Westhoughton move closer to the title with a narrow win as CMB Jnrs, Lads Club and St Mary's hope for runners up spot. All four top teams in the U12 all won as things hot up for honours in this age group while Bromley Cross and Hindley share the points. Woodbank chase the double in the U11 as they move into the semi finals of the cup while a number of teams close in on the league championship in the cubs section.
