BLACKROD Town suffered a 4-1 West Lancashire League Premier Division defeat at Burnley.
Defensive mistakes in the opening half hour cost Blackrod two goals.

Blackrod reserves drew at home to Springfield 1-1. Andy Morris scored Blackrod's goal and makeshift goalkeeper Nick O'Berg saved a penalty.
Eagley Reserves hammered Whinney Hill 7-0, Sean Hill grabbing a hat-trick and Mel Bentham two.
