Smithills School and Bolton Sixth Form College host a Spring Term Concert on Wednesday, April 2 at Smithills School Hall.
The concert, which begins 7.30pm, will feature the Senior Brass Band, Senior Big Band, Senior Concert Band, Woodwind Ensemble and soloists..
The event is being staged just two days before the World Champion Senior Brass Band and Senior Big Band fly out to New Zealand for their latest major tour lasting more than two weeks.
So far more than £36,000 has been raised towards the cost of the tour thanks to collections from the public and donations from sponsors Wallace Printers, Keoghs Solicitors, Chamberlain Doors, Fujitsu Services, Greater Manchester Waste, Georgia Pacific and Jacksons Van Hire. But the school bands are still more than £12,000 short of their target -- so a sell-out on April 2 would be much appreciated!
All tickets are £3 and on sale from Smithills School reception.
