DOBBIES A moved seven points clear at the top of Division One of the BSF Over 35s League with an impressive 4-0 home win over Turton.
With their nearest rivals playing cup matches, Dobbies took the opportunity to open up a substantial lead at the top.
Although the match was closer than the score suggests two goals from Brian Howarth keep Dobbies in pole position for the title.
Bottom club Cross Keys beat Willows 2-1 at home to move off the bottom and out of the relegation positions.
In Division Two Hare Athletic opened up a commanding seven-point gap over second place with a 3-0 home win over Daten AFC. Walkden Wrecks moved third after beating Horwich Town 2-0 at home.
Division Three leaders Ainsworth Fossils sit three points clear after a tight 1-1 draw away at Westhoughton Wingates in a super game.
The Walkden AFC match with Rumworth/Hulton was abandoned at half time due to an injury to a Rumworth player and may be replayed at a later date.
Seven Stars booked their place in the Second Division Cup Final with a 3-1 win over Bolton Wyresdale, and will now meet the winners of Hayward Old Boys v Newmarket.
DF Lostock won through to the Division Three Cup Final after beating Urmston MC 3-1, and will now meet Old Smithillians who beat Bottom Bulls Head 3-1 in the other semi final.
Stand Athletic won through to the Sam Ashworth Trophy semi-finals with a 6-0 thrashing of Colliers Rest and are joined there by Pennington, who beat Hayward Old Boys 1-0 in a very tight game.
