MANCHESTER City striker Shaun Goater has given street crime the red card by offering two free Premiership tickets to the most streetwise youngster in Greater Manchester.
By logging on to the new interactive police website to be found at http://www.operationhawk.com -- young people aged 10-18 years old will get the chance to enter a simple competition to win the exclusive prize donated by City's top player.
Famous personalities such as Manchester United's Phil Neville, Key 103's breakfast DJs JK & Joel, Coronation Street stars, players of Sale Sharks Rugby Union Club and Galaxy 102's top DJ Nicksy, will also be giving away mystery prizes in each of the monthly competitions, which will help educate pupils and students about the consequences of street crime.
Youngsters will also be able to make sure they are "on the ball" when it comes to street crime thanks to helpful hints on how to get streetwise when shopping, hanging out with friends, pubbing or clubbing. Advice is also offered on where to seek help if anyone becomes a victim or witness of street crime.
