MASKED raiders stole a large quantity of prescription drugs after threatening a pharmacist with a gun and a knife.
They escaped with 50 subutex tablets, 14 methadone ampoules, 300 phenobarbitone, 650 temazepam, a litre of methadone, 100 duregesic patches and a quantity of water tablets.
Police are appealing for information after the raid at the pharmacy on Liverpool Road, Platt Bridge, Wigan at 6.30pm on Monday.
