A DRIVER was taken to hospital following a three car smash outside Atherton fire station yesterday.
He was treated for shock after his Fiat Punto was in a collision with a Honda CRV and a Vauxhall van.
A crew from the Gloucester Street fire station heard the accident at 2.20pm and went out to free him from the vehicle.
The Honda had turned on its side, but the driver climbed out unhurt. The driver of the van also escaped injury.
