BULENT Akin will leave Wanderers when his contract is up in the summer.
The 23-year-old former Turkey Under-21 midfielder has failed to break into Sam Allardyce's plans this season and the two parties have agreed to part company.
The former Galatasaray star, who had extensive Champions League experience and was valued at £5 million by the Turkish giants, arrived at the Reebok carrying a cruciate ligament injury last summer.
It took him several months to recover and could not reach the level of fitness and quality Allardyce demanded.
"The injury meant he could not be involved early in the season," said Allardyce.
"When he was fit I didn't pick him becuase I felt he was no better than what I already had and he thought I should have picked him."
