BOLTON County's unbeaten run continued when they defeated local rivals Little Lever 3-0 in the Lancashire Amateur League on Saturday.

Both teams fielded weakened teams but County's replacements proved the stronger.

Chesterton and Howarth both found the target to give County a 2-0 lead at half-time.

Leading scorer Jamie McDonald scored a late third and sweeper Michael Locke was man of the match.

All County's other teams won, with the reserves beating Rivington 8-1, the A Team seeing off Rochdale 1-0 and the B Team running out 3-2 winners against Broughton.
