HIGH profile speed cameras are to be used on roadworks on the M6 in Greater Manchester.
The speed cameras are being mounted on highly visible yellow posts to police 50mph speed limits.
The latest digital SPECS cameras are to be used, situated at the beginning, middle, and end of the roadworks, which record motorists' average speed. The £3.3 million scheme to resurface the M6 between Junction 23, the East Lancashire Road at Haydock, and Junction 25 at Wigan starts on April 1 for five months.
