A 19-YEAR-OLD girl was threatened with a knife by a thug who then stole her car.
The teenager was returning alone to her car on the ground level of All Saints Street car park in Bolton following a night out with friends when she was approached by a man armed with the weapon.
He forced her to hand over her car keys and escaped in her H- registered grey Ford Fiesta.The teenager was unhurt but was left very shaken by her ordeal.
Det Con Mark Toker from Bolton CID said: "This was a terrifying attack on a teenager as she was on her way home from a night out.
"Fortunately, she was not injured in the attack, although she has been left extremely shaken and is very upset about what happened.
"I would appeal to anyone who was in the area in the early hours and saw anyone matching the description of the offender to call the police. "
The thief is described as a white male, in his mid 20s and of slim build with a pale complexion.
He was wearing a red jumper with white writing on the front.
