NO change at the top of the Premier Division as unbeaten Ramsbottom A beat Cricketers 7-2, Jim Chadwick winning the two Cricketers' sets.
Tameside in second place also won 7-2 against Little Lever with Phil Biggs unbeaten, and Farnworth in third place scored maximum points against bottom team Mosses who look certain to be relegated.
Nomads A are the new leaders of Division One after their convincing 8-1 win over Wingates with three wins apiece for Dennis Collier and Craig Johnson and two for Sean Toland.
Roy Costello trebled for Little Lever B who won at Heaton B 7-2 leaving the Heaton team firmly planted at the bottom of the table.
Trebles recorded in the other matches by Alex Waring for Ladybridge and Chris Byrne for Hilton B.
Division Two leaders Little Lever C had a comfortable 8-1 win over second bottom team Halliwell Meths, the win included 3 wins each by Keith Mills and top ten leader Ian Lansdale and two by Garry Pilling.
BEN A currently in second spot won 6-3 at Nomads which included the usual treble from Mike Audsley and Rammy C in third place one point behind BEN scored a 7-2 win over Halls.
In the other match Pete Bladen trebled for Hilton C in their 5-4 win at Ladybridge B.
The Third Division title race would appear to be between the top three teams. Current leaders Meadow Hill A won 8-1 against a depleted Rammy team, which gives them a four point lead over Ladybridge D who scraped home 5-4 at Hilton F, who are in third place and only one point adrift, thanks to a treble by Richard Hinchcliffe.
Mark Martin and Bob Waller trebled for Little Lever as did John Birchall and Brian Greenhalgh for Ladybridge and Alan Crompton and Andy Riley for Heaton E in their teams' respective wins.
Hilton E beat Farnworth 5-4 thanks to three wins by Colin Thornley and two by substitute Jean Smart. In Division Four current leaders Hilton J won 6-3 at Hilton K which included two wins each by Eamon McEntee, Andy Harris and Mike Roberts with Gilbert Wilkinson winning the three sets for the losers.
The win gives them a 12 point lead on Hilton I in second place who won 5-4 against Hilton L thanks to three wins by Steve Roz and two by Lee Davenport. The YMCA trio Jack Quinn, John Swarsbrick and Alan Weall all scored two wins in their 6-3 in over Meadow Hill, Phil Yates trebled for the losers
