MARK Patterson believes Leigh RMI have the fight to save them from relegation.
The struggling Conference side have slipped back into the bottom three following two successive defeats, but the manager was pleased with the way his players responded despite going down 3-1 at runaway leaders Yeovil.
"They are a class team and when we went a couple of goals behind we could easily have folded," he admitted. "But we battled back and kept going for the full 90 minutes.
"The first goal was the result of a schoolboy error and we have to eliminate these as they are hurting us. When you have your backs to the wall part-time players are more vulnerable. They have to keep their concentration."
