TERRY Christian isn't too happy with bosses at Century Radio. Why?

Well, "they've given me the boot haven't they," says the former The Word presenter.

Christian had hosted the six-nightly 7-9pm show for the past 20 months and, by his own admission, "it was the third most listened to and ratings had risen though the roof".

But in January he received a letter from the big shots at Century informing him his contract was to be terminated.

"I'm gutted," he told The Gossip, "I really enjoyed doing that show and I know ratings were still on the up. They've got a new bloke in and just told me that it was time for me to go.

"I've lots of things happening (a new TV series called It's My Life) but I love radio and I'm sorry to go."

A spokesman for Century Radio said: "We are always looking to refresh the station. Terry had been with us for 20 months and we have a new person taking over his slot very soon."
