A MAN suffered burns to his hand when he turned off a calor gas cylinder that had been set on fire by youths.
Youths were playing with a propane cylinder at the back of Cross Lane in Radcliffe by releasing gas and setting it on fire.
Cross Lane resident George Ward, aged 43, managed to turn it off before the flames could spread to several other gas cylinder nearby. Mr Ward did not need hospital treatment.
