LITTLE Hulton Community Centre is expected to benefit from a share of a £250,000 grant awarded to improve facilities.
The Government cash -- expected to be used to make structural and equipment improvements -- will be shared out between five centres across Salford.
Walkden Community Centre will also get a share.
It comes as Salford Council chiefs announce controversial plans to close two community centres in Higher Broughton and Swinton due to high running costs.
They have vowed to find alternative locations for groups and clubs which use them.
