A CHEF accused of killing a barman at Bolton's four-star Last Drop Hotel was due to make a further court appearance today.
Robert Borroneo Abo, aged 35, of Watery Lane, Darwen, is charged with the murder of 34-year-old Kenyan George Waithaka. He is also facing charges of assault and kidnap.
Mr Waithaka was married with one child and had come to England from Kenya to find work.
Police say his family are due to fly over to the UK early this week to formally identify the body. He was discovered dead in a room at the hotel in Hospital Road, Bromley Cross in the early hours of Thursday, March 14.
Borroneo Abo was due to appear at Manchester Crown Court today. He is remanded in custody. An inquest into the death of Mr Waithaka is also due to open in Bolton this week.
