OUTSIDE-left in the 1923 and 1926 FA Cup winning teams, the Cardiff-born winger came to Wanderers after playing rugby for Penarth and football for Barry Town.
He quickly made the No 11 shirt his own and as well as his 17 seasons of league football (interrupted by World War One) he was capped 22 times by Wales. When he made his final Bolton appearance back in March 1931, he was 41 years old - the oldest player to appear in a first team game for Wanderers.
