A MAJOR campaign has been launched to keep drugs out of Blackpool's pubs and clubs.
New safety guidelines were being implemented in the town centre of the resort on Monday.
The initiative also includes measures to improve first aid facilities if people become ill.
The guidelines have been implemented after they were published by the Home Office.
They have the full support of all the agencies with an interest in Blackpool's club scene.
The town's drug action co-ordinator, Paolo Puertica, said it is hoped the measures will improve safety for pub and club-goers in the town.
