A SPECIAL telephone line has been set up to keep people up to date with the M6 extension work in Cumbria.
Work is expected to start soon to upgrade the Cumberland Gap.
The M6 extension between Carlisle and Guards Mill will cost £65 million.
A special help line number - 0845 160 3178 - has been set up so that people can find out how the scheme is progressing and how it might affect them.
