MAY I draw your readers' attention to the proposed demolition of the former Bradshaw police station, currently known as Deajon House.
This is a perfectly good, handsome building, with datestone 1900, which sits comfortably with its surroundings in a conservation area.
Should any such destruction be allowed, it is very possible it would not only be replaced with a modern, maximum capacity, housing block, but generate extra cars spilling out on to an over-crowded main road.
I urge all those who care about their environment to write opposing this planning application numbered 64085/03 to the Director of Planning, Town Hall, Bolton, as soon as possible.
