A FALL on a Lancashire hillside led to a severely fractured shoulder last week.
The North West Air Ambulance was mobilised and, within an hour, I was receiving treatment at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
I would like to express my thanks to the helicopter crew, the paramedics, and hospital staff who all provided first-class treatment.
My friends and I are already preparing to sponsor the Air Ambulance Service. I would like to commend this service to your readers if they are seeking a charity to support. Who knows when you will need to be carried to hospital within the critical first hour after injury?
The Appeals Office can be contacted on 0151 527 2511. This time it was my turn -- next time it might be you!
