SIMON Charlton could give Sam Allardyce a welcome Premiership selection headache ahead of Monday's Reebok clash with Spurs.
The reliable left back will have shaken off the knee injury that kept him out of the Sunderland game in time for a recall against Glenn Hoddle's men.
And that will give his boss the difficult decision of whether to stick with a winning team or recall one of his most consistent performers.
"Simon will have recovered by Monday and back in the squad," confirmed Allardyce.
"I will have a dilemma of whether to bring him straight back in or play with an unchanged side."
Charlton has only been out for one game when Ricardo Gardner was switched to left back to impressive effect at Sunderland.
