WHEN politicians do a walkabout, it is usually in the run-up to a General Election and involves much palm-pressing and baby-kissing.
So, it was good to see MPs Ruth Kelly and David Crausby walking the Halliwell beat with local bobbies from the new mobile Copshop unit there. The best way to understand any community's problems is to see them first hand.
