The Jolly Waggoner now drop to second despite maintaining their good run with a 2-1 win over Smithills on a day that saw a torrent of goals. Farnworth Whites and Ladybridge shared six goals with HarrIson and Reynolds each scoring a hat-trick.
Greenfield beat Cherry Tree Park 10-3 with John Broad helping himself to four goals while Beaumont won 4-3 against the Farmers Arms. Andy Kay scored two and Andy Patton and Lee Brown one each.
