NORTH Bolton produced the result of the day in the Bolton Pioneer League Margaret Taylor Shield League Cup when they beat Premier Division side Willows 5-1.
They were 3-1 up at half time and completed the job after the break.
Astley Miners moved into the knockout stage with a 2-0 victory over Little Hulton Horseshoe.
Hulton Lane went 5-0 up against Sharples with two goals apiece for Walsh and Rice but they had a shock as Sharples hit back with four second half goals, shared by Lewis and Robinson, before they ran out of steam.
In the all Premier Division clash Commercial had a 3-0 victory over Cattlemarket thanks to a hat-trick from Ball.
Ellesmere proved to be too strong for HSM Old Boys and ran out 3-0 winners. Royal Hotel had an excellent 2-1 victory over Faux Forest.
In the only league game White Horse moved into second place in Division One thanks to a 7-1 victory over ABC Van Hire, McTeigue on target with a hat-trick.
