A 23-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court charged with wounding a father-of-two as he made his way home from a night out at the pub.
Christian Cullen is alleged to have attacked Stuart Crump in Halliwell Road, Bolton, on March 15.
The 34-year-old from St Augustine Street, Halliwell, is currently in the intensive care neurological unit at Hope Hospital in Salford and has still not regained consciousness.
He was walking home from a karoke night at his local pub when Cullen is alleged to have attacked him.
Cullen from Stowell Court, Brownlow Fold, Bolton, appeared before Bolton magistrates yesterday charged with wounding Mr Crump.
He was granted conditional bail until a hearing on April 17.
