On a day with little to do,
I thought I'd write a poem to you.
To say alreet, howdo and wotcha,
And ask, did you see the ice cool Okocha?
What a performance full of passion and verve,
And at the end he kept his nerve,
To slot the ball past the hapless Keller,
Bringing smiles of joy to the Reebok teller.
With support from Ivan, Youri and Per,
We beat Hoddle's boys fair and square.
Three priceless points for the mighty Whites,
We've now got Leeds, Brum and Villa in our sights.
But let's not pretend this was a one-off game,
Jay Jay is gaining more and more fame.
His skills are fantastic and totally undoubted,
Big names have come and big names have been flouted.
The highlight of the season and oh what fun,
Was to see how easy Roy Keane was done.
In total bewilderment Keane groaned "Who the hell are you, I thought I'd gotcha."
The reply was "You'll never be good enough son coz I'm Jay Jay Okocha!"
