RADIO 1 disc jockey Judge Jules spun the record deck -- and had his audience hanging on every note.
The DJ met budding DJs, listened to demo CDs and offered advice along with producer Damien Harris and DJ and remixer Darren Tate.
With headphones on, Judge Jules listened intently to the mixes of amateur DJs and offered some inspiration on how to produce quality dance music.
And it was not long before Judge Jules, sporting his trademark specs and a bright orange top, was showing what he is made of, as he got behind the decks for a live Radio 1 session. Immediately gathering a large crowd in front of the DJ box, Judge Jules, one of Britain's most highly acclaimed DJs, began to serve up some hot house anthems.
Joined by guest Ferry Corsten, Jules played a rocking set of familiar clubbing tracks with remixes of funky tunes getting a roaring reception from the crowd.
Building up the tension with some house anthems, the DJ also peppered his set with references to the fact that radio was broadcasting 'live from Bolton', which was met every time with bellowing cheers and whistles.
Radio 1 listeners could be in no doubt that Bolton clubbers know how to enjoy themselves.
