FOUR high profile housing schemes can get under way in Bury after the council was awarded more than £2 million from the Government's Social Housing Grant fund.
Fourteen affordable homes will be built in Ainsworth, which will be available on a shared ownership basis, and other projects will help the young and disabled find housing.
Bury Metro's Executive Member for Regeneration and Housing, Cllr Ray Watts, said: "This really is good news for Bury."
