THE EARL and Countess of Wessex are in the North-west to give the royal seal of approval to BBC Voices.
The project lends a platform to people who may feel they are not heard and aims to ensure positive change locally.
Part of BBC GMR's efforts will give children and the local community radio skills and renovate Alma Park School, in Levenshulme, Manchester.
Edward and Sophie will also open the new Smithfield Drug Detox Unit for those in need in Greater Manchester.
