MEMBERS of the Phoenix Theatre Company have found a venue for their next production -- thanks to the Marco Players.
The Players offered their "home" -- the Chorley Old Road Methodist Community Church, Bolton -- because Phoenix lost their own base in February when the United Reformed Church Hall off Chorley Old Road closed.
The Phoenix's last production there was Salt of the Earth in January.
Their next play is The Dresser by Ronald Harwood which will run until Saturday.
The Dresser is an affectionate and intelligent play about the theatre. It captures not only the relationship between star and dresser, but also theatre bitchiness, the sentiment plus the world of backstage.
Brian Seymour is directing Peter Haslam, Joyce Smith, Jenny Bowling, Edwina Freeman, Alan Macpherson, Robin Thompson and Mark Weatherall.
Tickets from 01204 840448/840824.
